Guarantee and warranty provisions

The warranty on all storage tank components complies with the regulatory guarantee provisions of the country
in which the manufacturer has supplied the product. This shall be subject to the product being positioned and
installed by a specialist in a suitable location.
The guarantee provisions for our products are subject to the conditions and time periods established in the
current version of the General Terms and Conditions.
The guarantee shall explicitly not cover the following types of damage and their consequences:

Transport damage.

Unsuitable or improper use.

Erroneous installation or commissioning by the operator or third parties.

Natural wear and tear.

Improper or negligent handling or maintenance.

Use of unsuitable operating resources.

Insufficient water quality.

Non observation of the installation, operation and maintenance instructions.

Improper modifications or commissioning activities by the purchaser or a third party.

Aggressive vapours or high levels of dust in the room in which the product is installed or adjacent
rooms.

Positioning in unsuitable rooms (frost, no maintenance access etc.).

Continued use despite the existence of a fault, a defect or damage.

Further to the state and municipality-specific regulations and directives, the following standards also apply to

DIN 4708 Central hot water heating systems
DIN 4753 Water heaters and heating systems for drinking and process water; requirements,
labelling, equipment and inspection
DIN 18380 Heating systems and central water heating systems
DIN 18381 Gas, water and drainage systems inside buildings
DIN EN 12828 Heating systems in buildings – planning and design of hot water heating systems
EN12897 Water supply – specification for indirectly heated, unvented (closed) storage water heaters
EN 12975 Thermal solar systems and their components
VDE 0100 Setting up electrical equipment, grounding, protective earth, potential equalisation
conductors.
VDI 2035 Prevention of damage in water heating installations
DVGW standards and work sheets on the requirements and testing of drinking water heaters, especially
DVGW W551 Drinking water heating systems and drinking water pipes.
