4. Initial setup
1. Mount the delivery nozzle on the hose.
Place the delivery nozzle in the holder
and close the lock.
2. Version with battery
The battery is partly charged at the time of
dispatch. Charge the battery before using
for the first time.
Check that the On/Off switch l
is switched off.
Insert the battery m.
(battery poles + and – facing downwards)
3. Place the trolley in a horizontal position
and remove screw cap a.
Fill the trolley (see section 5.3).
i
Important!
Please always use an automatic
delivery nozzle to avoid overflows.
4. Close the filling opening with the screw cap.
Place the trolley upright again.
5. Open the ventilation cap. Plug test adapter
EW 22 into the delivery spout (see operating
instructions for the delivery nozzle). Turn on
the pump and fill approx. one litre or more of
AdBlue into a separate container in order to
flush production residues out of the system.
Dispose of AdBlue
6. Open screw cap a again. Vent the system
completely by holding the delivery nozzle
in the filling opening of the trolley. Allow the
pump to run until such time as the flow is

®
uninterrupted and contains only a few air
bubbles. Depending on the system, the flow
may never be completely free of bubbles.
7. Adjust the flow rate if necessary. At the factory
setting, the flow rate is approx. 5.5 l/min.
To reduce the flow rate, see the operating
instructions for the delivery nozzle with regard
to the screw on the handle. The delivery
nozzle does not have any hose connection
with pinhole aperture.
i
Important!
If you pull the lever up completely to the
handle, the flow rate is at its maximum
irrespective of the screw setting. Once
you have adjusted the flow rate, test it
by doing a volumetric measurement. To
do so, click the lever with the red locking
device into place at the top notch.
i
Important!
Automatic deactivation of the delivery
nozzle does not work below a flow rate
of 3 l/min. Never set a flow volume of
below approx. 3.5 l/min, as the pump
output deteriorates somewhat when the
battery is almost empty.
i
Important!
During operation, the pressure switch of
the pump must not turn off and on. If
this happens, the flow rate must be
increased again up to a level whereby
the pump is running continuously. The
pressure switch must stop the pump
only when the delivery nozzle is closed.
8. Switch off pump. Close ventilation screw
in screw cap (fig. 01).
Remove test adapter EW 22.
The filling station is now ready for use.
