5. Operation
5.1 Storage
Important!
Material damage (deformation) of
the tank from excessive heating or
mechanical overload.
• do not expose the high-grade plastic tank to
direct sunlight for extended periods either dur-
ing transport on the vehicle or when
in storage.
Suitable storage conditions:
• ambient temperature: -10 °C to +40 °C
(cover when storing outdoors)
• Floor: level and smooth
(without pointed projections)
5.2 Moving the trolley
i
Important!
The completely filled trolley is heavy.
Note that considerable downhill forces
arise on steep slopes.
5.3 Filling the trolley
Place the trolley in a horizontal position
and remove the screw cap.
Fill the container through the filling opening
using a delivery nozzle with automatic
shut-off feature.
After filling, close the filling open tightly again
with the screw cap a.
Also close the ventilation cap in the screw cap.
Contamination of the container must be
removed immediately with a dry cloth.
5.4 Filling
Filling is only possible when the tank
is in a vertical, standing position.
Note that excessive tensile forces on
the delivery hose may tip the trolley
out of the vertical position.
Open the ventilation cap in the screw cap.
Open the delivery nozzle lock and insert the
automatic delivery nozzle fully into the tank
to be filled.
Switch on the pump at the switch l .
Operate the automatic delivery nozzle e
(if necessary, lock with locking device)
and carry out filling operation.
i
Important!
For vehicles with a permissible filling
speed below 5 l/min (e.g. Audi A4, Audi
A6, etc.), operate the lever carefully until
the locking device clicks into place. You
may even need to choke the delivery
nozzle (see page 5 of the ZVA operating
instructions). If you pull the lever right
up to the handle, you will get maximum
filling speed. A possible reverse surge
may cause the delivery nozzle to shut
off or the tank to overflow.
For vehicles with two connected tanks,
you will need to refill them several times.
i
Important!
Switch the pump off immediately
when the delivery rate for an empty
filling station reduces.
i
Important!
Constantly monitor the filling process.
6. Maintenance and inspection
6.1 Safety measures
i
Important!
The operator must provide any pro-
tective clothing that may be required.
Who can carry out maintenance
and inspection work?
Normal maintenance work may be
carried out by operational personnel.
