14 Operation and Handling

This chapter provides you with important notices with regard to operating the device.
Observe the following notices to avoid dangers and damages.
► Do not leave the appliance unsupervised during operation.

14.1 Use

Plug power cord into a standard electrical outlet.The device beeps one time.
In the display "C" flashes two times. After that, the current temperature is shown.
Open the lid of the water kettle and fill it with cold water.
► When the water kettle is not positioned on the base, "E" is shown in the display.
Close the lid and place the water kettle onto the base.
The current water temperature is shown in the display.
