The user must ensure that the rooms where the steam generator
is to be used comply with all safety standards and regulations
regarding:
• efficient electrical installations;
• the absence of explosive, inflammable, toxic or corrosive
substances.
Use of the appliance in particular conditions requiring use of
class II appliances only is not recommended.
Filling the tanks.
Fill the "cleaning solution" tank (fig. 2) with cleaning product
diluted according to the instructions given on the bottle.
IMPORTANT: Use only liquid cleaning products.
!
Warning
Under no circumstances must highly acid, alkaline or
oxidising products be used.
Ask your dealer for a catalogue of possible cleaning prod-
ucts to be used according to the type of washing to be
carried out or surface to be treated.
IMPORTANT: always fill the water tank with clean water (fig. 3)
with a hardness of between 5° and 15° TH.
!
Warning
Never fill the water tank with detergent solution as this
would cause irreparable damage to the steam generator.
Connecting the vacuum/injection tube.
Insert the connection into the outlet in the front of the machine
and be sure that the right hooks have been properly placed
(Fig. 4).
Connection of the wet vacuum cleaner.
Insert the wet vacuum cleaner in the special housing placed
in the trolley. Connect the cable to the electricity supply socket
located on the control panel.
Connect the wet vacuum cleaner's nozzle to the device by
means of apposite flexible suction hose (fig. 5).
Electrical connections.
The steam generator should be connected to the mains in ac-
cordance with current legislation.
!
Warning
The highest allowed net impedance at the electrical connection
point (refer to technical data) is not to be exceded.
Make sure the mains voltage corresponds to the voltage re-
quired by the appliance and indicated on the ratings plate (fig.
1). Protect the electric cable from accidental crushing.
Failure to respect the above conditions absolves the
manufacturer from all liability and represents negligent
use of the product.
!
Warning
Protection against accidental contact.
Before removing the panels, unplug the appliance from the
mains. Before using the appliance, make sure the panels are
correctly assembled and fixed.
Failure to respect these instructions could result in electric
shock and absolves the manufacturer from all liability.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE
Cleaning fabric.
Before treating fabric with the steam generator, always check
its resistance to steam on a part not in view.
Test by steaming the surface intensely and then leaving to dry.
Make sure the form and colour of the fabric are not affected.
!
Warning
Cleaning coated or painted surfaces.
Never aim the steam at glued edges as the strips may become
detached. Do not use the appliance on unsealed wooden or
parquet floors.
Take care when cleaning kitchen or domestic furniture, doors,
parquet, painted surfaces or surfaces coated with synthetic
products.
If prolonged use is made of steam, wax, French polish, synthetic
coatings or paint may become detached, deteriorate or be
marked. You are recommended to clean these surfaces with
a steamed cloth only, or steam them briefly using a double
layer of cloth.
Cleaning glazed surfaces.
To avoid damaging frame seals, avoid aiming the flow of steam
directly towards the sealed points of the glazed surfaces.
When outside temperatures are low, particularly during winter,
heat the surface of the glass by lightly steaming the entire
surface before cleaning. This compensates for the difference
in temperature between the internal and external surfaces,
reducing the surface tensions which might otherwise cause
the glass to break.
!
Warning
For sanitising, refer to the relative protocols.
