16.3 Operation

► Wait at least 24 hours before you turn on the appliance. The coolant requires this
amount of time to settle.
► The removable container and the recess into which the container is inserted must be
dry before use, otherwise the container may freeze during ice cream production /
cooling.
► The container does not have to be pre-cooled / cooled down.
► Always fill food directly into the container and not into the recess into which the
container is inserted.
► Never use the device without the inserted container.
► Fill the container up to a maximum level of 60% (about 1 litre of liquid), as the ice cream
mixture expands during the freezing process.
► Only use the mixer for the mixing and ice cream programme.
WARNING
► Do not hold any objects in the device during operation, especially the mixer, and do not
reach into the device with your hand. There is a risk of injuries!

Please refer to the Recipes chapter to obtain important preparation instructions for the
production of ice cream and yoghurt.
