User manual for the following types of multiswitches:

MSC 508, 512, 516
The multiswitches series MSC will be used for the distribution of 4 analogue and/
or digital SAT-signals for 8 up to 16 users. All transmission levels are available
for each user by programming the switching method 14/18V, 0/22kHz.
Operation only with Quattro LNB with fixed outputs Low V, Low H, High V, High H.
The terrestrial programs can be received also without connecting a SAT receiver.
The small insertion loss on the SAT-path allows the
configuration of an extensive distribution net.
High isolation of transmission levels and user connections
guarantee a high signal quality for each user.

Safety rules

! Disconnect the mains before opening the cabinet.
! Only a qualified installer is allowed to open the cabinet.
! Only the original power cable has to be used.
! In case of thunderstorm operation at the installation is not allowed.
Grounding
In conformity with EN 50083/VDE 0855 the regional safety rules should be
considered at the installation of satellite equipment.
Place of mounting
For application in dry rooms. The ambient temperature should not pass over 60° C.
The unit has to be mounted on a fireproof support.
Remarks
F-Connectors screwed only finger tight.
Cables coming from exterior have to be bent downwards and upwards
again to avoid water penetration along the cable run.
If the installation is made by using a electrical screwdriver
the max. torque figures have to be respected.
The multiswitches correspond to grade 3 according to EN 50083-5.
