• The red and green light on the charger will glow for one second as a self-check,the
green light on charger will then flash to show that the battery pack is charging.
• If the red light comes on, it means the temperature of the battery pack is too
high, let it cool down before charging. If the red light flashes, the battery pack is
damaged and must be replaced.
• After approximately 80min, the green light will come on, indicating that the battery
is fully charged.
• Unplug the charger, and then remove the battery pack.

Never use a damaged battery pack.
WARNING

Always disconnect the charger from the power source when it is not in
use.
WARNING
NOTE: The battery pack and charger will become slightly warm to the touch while
charging. This is normal and does not indicate a problem.
NOTE: If you wish to charge two battery packs in succession, unplug the charger and
allow at least 15 minutes between charges.

Lock the trigger switch on your tool by
setting the forward/reverse control in
the centre position.
•
To remove the battery pack from
the tool, firmly press and hold in the
battery pack release button and slide
the battery pack out of the tool.
•
To install the battery pack, align the
raised ribs on the battery pack with
the grooves inside the tool, slide the
battery pack fully onto the tool until
the battery pack "clicks" into position.
•
Make sure the release button on
the battery pack snaps in place and
battery pack is secured in the tool
before operating.
• This battery pack is equipped with a power bar which is used to give an indication of
the battery pack's remaining charge. Press the power bar button to check battery
capacity.
3. Functions

When selecting a drill bit, use the
right type for your job. For best
performance, always use sharp drill
bit.
•
To open the chuck jaws, hold its
collar while turning the sleeve in the
counterclockwise direction. Insert
the bit deeply into the chuck, and then
center the bit in the chuck jaws.
•
To close the chuck jaws, hold the
collar while turning the sleeve in the
clockwise direction. Tighten securely.
•
To remove the bit, reverse the
direction.
NOTE: The chucks of reversible drills are
always fixed by a screw with a left hand
thread. The screw must be loosed before
the chuck can be removed if necessary.
To loosen the screw, turn it in a clockwise
direction.
•
For forward (clockwise) rotation,
push the forward /reverse switch to
the left position.
•
For reverse (anticlockwise) rotation,
push the forward/reverse control to
the right position.
•
The tool is equipped with a forward/
reverse indicator. If the forward/
reverse control is selected and the
on/off trigger switch is pressed, the
corresponding forward/reverse
indicator will come on.
