CAUTION!
Tripping hazard due to dirt and objects lying about!
Contamination and objects lying about are slipping and tripping hazards and may cause
serious injury.
Therefore:
–
Keep the work area clean at all times.
–
Remove objects that are no longer needed.
WARNING!
Risk if injury from pneumatic energy!
Pneumatic energy may cause injuries of the most serious kind.
Pneumatically actuated components may start moving unexpectedly.
If individual components are damaged, air may escape under high pressure, causing, for
instance, injuries to the eyes.
Therefore:
–
Allow only trained and qualified personnel to perform work on the pneumatic system.
–
Before working on the pneumatic system, depressurize it first. Pay attention to
accumulators. Relieve them completely as well.
–
Do not alter the pressure settings beyond the maximum permissible limits.
WARNING!
Risk of fatal injuries due to faulty safety fixtures!
Safety is only assured when all safety fixtures function properly.
Therefore:
–
Before commencing work, check if all safety fixtures have been correctly installed and
function properly.
–
Never disable any safety fixtures.
–
Never bypass or alter any safety components.
–
Make sure that safety fixtures such as emergency stop buttons, emergency trip wires,
etc. are accessible at all times.
NOTICE!
For information on the location of the safety fixtures, see chapter "Design and function."
