after receiving the necessary instructions.
Always handle and operate your Bona OptiSpread UX with care.
The Bona OptiSpread UX must only be used by skilled personnel or explicitly trained
persons, otherwise serious operating errors and injuries may occur.
Keep children away and secure against unauthorised use. Never leave the unit
unattended when it is ready for use or in operation. Do not allow children near it under any
circumstances. Children are not allowed to use this product. Secure the product against
unauthorised use.
Check for damage. Check the device for any damage before putting it into operation. If the
device has any defects, it must not be put into operation under any circumstances.
Do not use sharp objects. Never insert pointed and/or metallic objects inside the device.
Fill Bona OptiSpread UX only with Bona silane adhesive in a 9 kg foil bag. No non-system
adhesive systems may be processed with the machine. This leads to the exclusion of
any warranty claims. Also make sure that the adhesives correspond to approx. room
temperature. Cold adhesives are tougher, which leads to higher battery consumption and
strain on the feed. Therefore, always acclimatise the adhesive sufficiently before processing.
CAUTION! Store the Bona OptiSpread UX in the holder provided when not in use. To do
this, choose a place where it is not a trip or fall hazard.
Only use the Bona OptiSpread UX with the nozzle screwed on and secured!
Make sure that your hands do not get into the area of the piston or the feed device to avoid
injuries. Never use grease or other lubricants such as fats or oils for the working piston!
Only use original accessories! Do not carry out repairs yourself, but contact your Bona
system technician or our Service Hotline.
