SELECTING A CHARGE MODE
CK3154-1 10/2A, 12/6V Manual Charger Instructions Manual
The CK3154-1 Century battery charger has three power settings for manual charging.
Selections are made by moving the dial on the front panel of the charger.
Select the 10A/12V or 2A/12V MANUAL postion if you are charging large lead acid batteries, such as those used in automobiles, boats
trucks, vans, farm equipment, etc
Plug the AC power cord into the wall outlet. The meter will read up to 15 amps and taper down to 6 or 7 as the battery reaches full
charge, for 10A setting. On the 12V, 2A setting the meter will read 5 amps for a fully discharged battery and taper down to 1 amp as
the battery reaches full charge.
NOTE: The charger MUST be turned off manually when the battery reaches full charge.
Select the 10A6V MANUAL position for charging 6 volt batteries used in specialty automotive, truck and farm equipment.
NOTE: The charger MUST be turned off manually when the battery reaches full charge.
Avoid overcharging as the result may damage your battery.
