Connection
• Plug the IP44 mains plug into a mains socket.
When using the light outdoors, make sure to use a suitable IP44 mains
socket.
The mains socket to which the light is connected must be protected
on the sub-distribution board by a 10/16A fuse. An earth leakage circuit
breaker must be installed before this (FI protective switch).
• If an extension cable is used for connection, the extension cable must be
suitable for outdoor use and must be equipped with IP44 plug, as well.
Caution!
Lethal hazard due to electric shiock, if unsuitable sockets or exten-
sion cables are used outdoors!
Maintenance and Care
• The light does not require maintenance. The LED light is permanently in-
stalled and cannot be replaced.
• Before cleaning, disconnect the mains plug of the light from the power
supply. To do this, pull the mains plug out of the socket. Then allow the
lamp to cool down.
• The exterior of the light should only be wiped with a clean, soft, dry cloth.
Do not use aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions that could
damage the housing (discolouring) or impair operation.
To remove persistent stains, moisten the cloth with water.
Do not press too hard on the housing, as scratches might appear. Never
direct the jet of a garden hose or a pressure washer at the product!
Disposal
Dispose of an unserviceable product in accordance with the rel-
evant statutory regulations.
