Use in accordance with manufacturer's instructions
The product is used to illuminate indoor and outdoor areas. The product
can be mounted e.g. on a wall or ceiling using the pre-mounted bracket.
Any other use than that described above may damage the product. More-
over, this may give rise to hazards such as short-circuiting, fi re, electric
shock, etc. No part of the product may be modifi ed or converted!
The safety instructions must be observed at all times!

Explanation of Symbols, Inscriptions
The lightning symbol indicates a health hazard, e.g. electric shock.
This symbol indicates specifi c risks associated with handling, func-
tion and use.
The arrow symbol indicates special tips and operating information.
The product is not dimmable.
IP67 The product is suitable for use outdoors.
Ta 50°C The ambient temperature may not exceed + 50 °C.
Observe the operating instructions!
Safety Instructions
Read the complete operating manual carefully before using
the product, as it contains important information about the
correct installation and operation.
The warranty will be void in the event of damage caused by
failure to observe these safety instructions! We do not assume
any liability for any consequential damage!
We do not assume any liability for material and personal dam-
age caused by improper use or non-compliance with the safety
instructions! In such cases, the warranty will be void!
• The unauthorised conversion and/or modifi cation of the product
is not allowed for safety and approval reasons (CE).
• The product is not a toy and must be kept out of the reach of chil-
dren! There is the risk of a fatal electric shock!
• The product may only be operated on the mains voltage (see sec-
tion "Technical Data"). Never try to operate the product at another
voltage as this will cause its destruction.

• The product is designed to comply with protection class I; it has an
IP44 European power plug.
An appropriate power socket complying with IP44 must be used in
outdoor areas.
Extension cables must also be appropriate for use in outdoor areas,
if applicable. Make sure that the plug connection is never in or under
water, e.g. in puddles or in areas where water might accumulate dur-
ing rain or fl ooding.
• The product complies with IP67; it can be mounted and operated
in indoor and outdoor areas. However, never mount it to or inside
vehicles.
The product must never be operated in or under water, this will
damage it. This might cause a lethal electric shock!
• Do not use this product in rooms or under adverse ambient con-
ditions where combustible gases, vapours or dust are or may be
present! There is a risk of explosion!
• Do not hang or attach objects (e.g. decorative material) to the
light, there is a risk of fi re!
• Do not expose the product to extreme temperatures, strong vibra-
tions or strong mechanical stress.
• If you have reason to assume that safe operation is no longer pos-
sible, disconnect the product immediately and secure it against
inadvertent operation. Let an expert check the product.
It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:
- the product shows visible signs of damage,
- the product does not work at all or well (fl ickering light, leaking
smoke or a smell of burning, the light fl ickers, audible cracking
noises, discolouration to the product or the adjacent surfaces.)
- the device was stored under unfavourable conditions for a long
period of time or
- the device was exposed to extraordinary stress caused by trans-
port.
• Do not leave packing materials unattended. They may become
dangerous playthings for children.
• In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of
the employer's liability insurance association for electrical systems
and operating facilities are to be observed!
Installation
Pay attention to the chapter "Safety Instructions"!
• The light must be installed and used out of the reach of children.
• The light can be mounted to a wall or under a ceiling by means of the
mounting bracket. The light can also be mounted e.g. on the fl oor or a
concrete base.
Install the light only on a stable surface. Use screws and plugs that are
suitable for the surface.
Due to the heavy weight, a corresponding stable installation is to be per-
formed.
• Align the light as preferred and affi x it immovably.
Do not point the light beam on walls/furniture; this may lead to discoloura-
tion.
• Install all cables in such a way that nobody may trip over them.
• The mains socket to which the light is connected must be protected
on the sub-distribution board by a 10/16A fuse. An earth leakage circuit
breaker must be installed before this (FI protective switch).
