Names and Functions of Parts

The port replicator allows your peripheral devices to function exactly as if they were con-
nected directly to the computer. (Refer to "Names and Functions of Parts" in the "OPERAT-
ING INSTRUCTIONS" accompanying the computer.)
CAUTION
Do not touch the expansion bus connector, pins or springs of the port replicator.

Security Lock
A Kensington cable can
be connected. For more
information, read the
manual that comes with
the cable.
Front/Right Side
Expansion Bus Connector
This connects to the expansion bus
connector on the bottom of the com-
puter.
Be sure to keep it covered with the sup-
plied protective cap when the port
replicator is not connected to the com-
puter.
Cap Holder
The protective cap from the expansion bus connector
should be placed here when the port replicator is con-
nected to the computer.
(This will prevent it from getting lost.)

Check whether

to the power switch on
the computer.
