Intended use
The product is used to measure and display the outdoor and indoor temperature. Besides,
the display indicates maximum and minimum temperatures within the past 24 hours.
The outdoor sensor included in the package transmits its measured data wirelessly to
the radio-controlled thermometer.
Operation of the radio-controlled thermometer and outdoor sensor requires two bat-
teries each of the type AAA/Micro.
Always observe the safety instructions and all other information included in these op-
erating instructions.
Any use other than as described above is not permitted and can damage the product.
In addition, it can lead to hazards such as short-circuiting, fire, etc.

• The unauthorised conversion and/or modification of the product is not
permitted for safety and approval reasons (CE). Never open/dismantle it
(except as described in these operating instructions for inserting/replac-
ing the batteries).
• Do not use this product in hospitals or medical institutions. Although the
outdoor sensor emits only relatively weak radio signals, these may lead
to the malfunction of life-supporting systems. The same may also apply to
other areas.
• The manufacturer is not responsible for incorrect displays or measured
values and any consequences which may arise thereof.
• The product is intended for private use and not suited for medical pur-
poses or informing the public.
• The product is not a toy and does not belong in the hands of children. The
product contains small parts, glass (display) and batteries. Position the
product so it is out of the reach of children.
• The radio-controlled thermometer is only suitable for dry, enclosed indoor
areas. Do not expose it to direct sunlight, strong heat, cold, dampness or
wetness; otherwise it may be damaged.
• The outdoor sensor is suitable for use in protected outdoor areas. It must
not be used in or under water, this will destroy it.
• Do not leave packaging material carelessly lying around, as it could be-
come a dangerous plaything for children.
• Handle the product with care; it can be damaged by impacts, blows, or
accidental falls, even from a low height.
• If you have any questions that are not answered in these operating in-
structions, please contact our technical department or another specialist.
Battery/rechargeable battery instructions
• Batteries/rechargeable batteries must be kept out of the reach of children.
• Do not leave batteries/rechargeable batteries lying around in the open. There is a
risk of batteries being swallowed by children or pets. If they are swallowed, consult
a doctor immediately.
• Replace flat batteries/rechargeable batteries in good time since flat or old batteries/
rechargeable batteries can leak.
• Acid contact due to leaking or damaged single/rechargeable batteries can burn
your skin, therefore use suitable protective gloves.
• Liquids leaking from batteries/rechargeable batteries are very chemically aggressive.
Objects or surfaces coming into contact with these liquids could be considerably
damaged. Thus, store batteries/rechargeable batteries in a suitable location.
• Normal/rechargeable batteries must not be short-circuited, opened or thrown into a
fire. There is a risk of explosion!
• Do not recharge normal, non-rechargeable batteries; there is a risk of explosion!
• Always replace the complete set of batteries/rechargeable batteries. Do not mix
batteries/rechargeable batteries with different charges (flat and half-discharged
batteries/rechargeable batteries).
• Use either batteries or rechargeable batteries; never mix standard batteries with re-
chargeable batteries. Use only batteries/rechargeable batteries of the same model
and type and from the same manufacturer.
• Check that the polarity is correct when inserting the batteries/rechargeable batter-
ies (pay attention to plus/+ and minus/-).
