shown in the battery compartment.
• Replace the battery compartment cover (3).
Replace the batteries when "LO"
appears on the LCD display (1).
b) Weighing
• Place the scale on a stable, horizontal and even
surface.
• Carefully open the protective cover (4). Replace
after use.
• Press ON/OFF (5) to turn the scale on, and wait
until "0.0" is shown. If another value appears press
TARE (7).
• Press MODE/CAL (6) to toggle through units of
measurement (g, oz, dwt, gn).
• Place the object you wish to weigh on the weighing
platform (2). If the weight exceeds the weighing
range, the LCD display (1) shows "O_Ld". If this
happens remove the object from the weighing
surface immediately.
• Press ON/OFF (5) to turn the scale off.
The scale turns off automatically after
approximately 30 seconds of inactivity.
c) Tare Function
The weighing capacity includes the
weighing container. It is recommended
to use a weighing container which is as
light as possible.
The tare function is used to measure net weight when
using a container. The tare function factors in the
weight of the container so the scale only measures
the net weight of the object you wish to weigh.
• Press ON/OFF (5) to turn the scale on, then place
an empty measuring container (bowl, basket, etc.)
on the weighing platform (2). Wait until the LCD
display (1) stabilizes.
• Press TARE (7). The display will show the value
"0.0" including the measuring container.
• Place the object you wish to weigh in the
measuring container. The displayed weight will be
strong
the net weight of the object you are weighing.
• To continue weighing without the measuring
container, remove the container from the weighing
platform (2) and press TARE (7).
d) Counting Function
This function determines the quantity of units of an
equal weight.
• Press ON/OFF (5) to turn the scale on.
• Place (25, 50, 75 or 100) objects on the weighing
platform (2).
• Press and hold PCS (8) until the number "25"
appears on the LCD display (1).
• Press MODE/CAL (6) to set a reference unit
number (25, 50, 75 or 100).
• Press PCS (8). The LCD display (1) will show the
number of units.
• Add or remove objects from the weighing platform
(2).
• Press MODE/CAL (6) to return to normal weighing
mode.
The reference value will be stored until
you set a new value.
e) Calibration
The scale has been calibrated at
the factory. If accuracy fails, first try
replacing the batteries.
A standard test weight of 200 g (not
included) is required for calibration.
The weighing platform (2) must be
empty.
• Press ON/OFF (5) to turn the scale on.
• Press and hold MODE/CAL (6) until the LCD
display (1) shows "CAL".

the LCD display (1), before flashing the required
calibration weight (200 g).
• Place the calibration weight on the weighing
platform (2). Calibration is completed when
"PASS" appears on the LCD display (1).
• If a calibration error has occurred, "FAIL" will

platform (2) and turn off the scale.
