Choice of function key
For as long as the red LED of the channel selection blinks, you can activate 1 of the 3 push buttons. Press one
button to send a signal to the receiver(s). The LED lights for 1s (= min. time) or for as long as you press the push
button (max. 36s.). The LED blinks again for 30s. During these 30s, you can activate another function key of
the same channel. This is repeated until you send nothing for 30s (red LED goes out) or select another channel.
For instructions to program the RF system, refer to the user manual of the RF receivers that operate according
to the Easywave protocol.
2.1. Range between wireless transmitters and receivers
Appliances with remote control such as TV, video and audio sets are not interfered by wireless transmitters. The
transmitters do not have to be pointed optically towards the receiver. The range indoors is ±30m, in open field
100m. The ranges depend upon the materials used in the building. You can use the diagnosis unit 05-370 to
determine the RF signal strength in a given environment. The appliance recognizes all 868,3Mhz signals. The
receiver quality of the transmitter signal or the strength of interference is displayed by 9 LEDs. This way, you can
determine whether the range of the RF transmitter is sufficient.

2.2. Inserting/replacing batteries
Replace the battery if the LED blinks weakly or not at all during start-up.
- Remove the battery cover (for 05-312, use a screwdriver).
- Avoid direct contact with the battery to avoid discharging.
- The use of NiCd batteries is not allowed.
- Insert the new battery. Take into account the polarity. ('+' and '-' sign in the compartment).
- Use 3V CR2032 (2 batteries for 05-312).
- Klick (or screw down for 05-312) the battery cover back in place.
- Hand in used batteries at a recognized collection point.
2.3. Installation instructions and recommendations
NEVER place a transmitter:
- in a metal distribution box, housing or netting;
- in the immediate vicinity of large metal objects;
- on or near the floor.
3. TROUBLESHOOTING
If the system does not operate after programming, you can carry out a number of additional checks.
3.1. New installation
- Check whether the protection between the battery and the contacts in the transmitter has been removed.
- Check whether the battery and the contacts make good permanent contact.
- Check the mains voltage on the receiver in the distribution board.
- Check if everything is connected as indicated in the wiring diagrams (see user manual receivers).
- Reset and (re)program the receiver (see user manual receivers; programming).
3.2. Existing installation
- Check the batteries of the transmitter(s).
- Check the mains voltage (230V~) on the receiver.
- Check the operation of the connected load.
- Check for interference caused by changes in the system environment (metal cabinets, walls or furniture
moved....) Restore the original condition, if possible.
3.3. Transmitter malfunction
Pick up the transmitter and walk towards the receiver.
- If the system works at reduced distance: the transmitter has been placed outside the transmitter range or
there is an interference problem. You can also use the diagnosis unit (05-370) to measure the strength of
the sent RF signal. For a transmitter outside the range, you can use the repeater (05-335).
- The system does not work even after placing it closer to the receiver; check the programming (see user
manual receivers; programming) and/or the battery of the transmitter.
3.4. The system automatically switches on and off
- The system automatically switches on: This is only possible if a foreign transmitter was programmed in
the receiver within the receiver range. Reset the receiver and reprogram the relevant addresses (see user
manual receivers, programming).
- The system automatically switches off: this situation can be similar to the situation described above or be
the result of brief current interruptions.

1. POPIS
Ručné vysielače sú súčasťou systému Niko RF (Radio Frequency), ktorý využíva protokol Easywave a na prevádzku
nepotrebuje žiadne prepojenie vodičmi medzi ovládačmi (tlačidlami) a prijímačmi.

tlačidlá C a D rovnakú funkciu. Teda môžete tieto režimy tiež priradiť ovládacím bodom
s 3 tlačidlami (na spodku vysielača). Týmto spôsobom môžete nezávisle kontrolovať 1
dodatočný okruh na kanál (celkovo 4 dodatočné okruhy).
Vysielanie signálu:
Výber kanála (tlačidlá 1, 2, 3 a 4 na vrchu)
Stlačte 1 zo 4 tlačidiel na výber kanála aby ste zvolili kanál. Príslušná červená LED
začne blikať po dobu 30 s.
