3. ASSEMBLY
Before assembly, always switch off the
machine and remove the mains plug from
the mains.
Mounting and removing the accessory (Fig. B)
Caution: drills and chisels can get very hot.
Do not use blunt drill bits or chisels.
Immediately sharpen or replace blunt drill
bits or chisels.
Mounting
1. Apply a few drops of oil to the shaft of the
accessory.
2. Slide the locking sleeve (5) to the rear.
3. Insert the accessory into the chuck (4).
4. Secure the accessory by turning it counter-
clockwise until it locks into place.
5. Release the locking sleeve (5).
Removing
1. Slide the locking sleeve (5) to the rear.
2. Remove the accessory from the chuck (4).
3. Release the locking sleeve (5).

Mounting and removing the auxiliary grip (Fig. C)
Mounting
1. Loosen the auxiliary grip (7) by turning it
counter clockwise.
2. Mount the auxiliary grip (7) by sliding it over the
chuck (4).
3. Turn the auxiliary grip (7) to the required position.
4. Tighten the auxiliary grip (7) by turning it
clockwise.
Removing
1. Loosen the auxiliary grip (7) by turning it
counter clockwise.
2. Remove the auxiliary grip (7).
3. Tighten the auxiliary grip (7) by turning it
clockwise.
Mounting and removing the dust collector (Fig. D)
The dust collector (8) prevents dust from entering
the machine when drilling into ceilings.
Immediately replace a damaged dust
collector (8).
Mounting
1. If necessary, remove the accessory from the
chuck (4).
2. Slide the dust collector (8) over the shaft of the
accessory.
3. Insert the accessory with the dust collector (8)
into the chuck (4).
Removing
1. Remove the accessory with the dust collector
(8) from the chuck (4).
2. Remove the dust collector (8) from the accessory.
4. OPERATION
Hammer drills require very little operator
pressure. Excessive pressure on the tool
can lead to unnecessary overheating of the
motor, and burning of the driven tool. It also
may happen the drill bit deforms and
cannot be removed from the machine again.
