Note
During fitting, the adapter must be fitted as a damper between the stopcock and flow meter. Take note of the arrow marked on the flow
meter showing the correct direction of flow. Use the correct seals appropriate for the pipe diameter only. In this way water can flow freely
without added turbulence through the measuring area. Correct flow measurement can only be achieved if these instructions are complied
with.
Disconnect the machine from the electrical mains and the gas supply if appropriate. Ensure utilities cannot be switched on again in
error.
Connect the flow meter to a 3/4 stopcock, see Fig. 1.
Connect the water intake hose or Y-piece to the flow meter, see Fig. 2.

Remove the cover plate from the electrical connection on the rear of the machine.
Connect the flow meter connections in accordance with the multifunction module 07 wiring diagram.
Refit the cover plate over the electrical connection on the rear of the machine.
Note
PW 6163, PW 6243, PW 6323
Remove the cover plate from the electrical connection box.
Connect the flow meter connections to the terminal strip in accordance with the wiring diagram.
Refit the cover plate on the electrical connection box.
Check the newly fitted parts for leaks.
Carry out appropriate electrical safety checks.
Reconnect the machine to the electrical supply and, if appropriate, the gas supply. Switch the utilities on.

Register the module 7 via the service mode depending on the software ID, e.g. Service level Service settings Module
registration MFM with coding 7 Activate disk symbol to save the setting. Or Service level Service settings Module
registration EZL with coding 7 Module registration? OK button Activate disk symbol to save the setting.
Activate flow meter measuring for the appropriate flow meter (here e.g. number 1) for the control via the service mode: Service
level Service settings Basic settings Water intake Flow meter Flow meter 1: No Yes OK button (select Yes on flow
meter 1 level) Back symbol (until disk symbol is displayed) Activate disk symbol to save activation of flow meter 1.
Note
From ID 1000/1001, manual data backup must also be carried out as follows:
Carry out a data backup via the service mode: Service level Backup Backup data to BAE (Selection-display module)
Overwrite existing data? Activate disk symbol to overwrite BAE data.
To quit the service mode, switch off the machine.
Carry out a functional check, e.g. with the start of a programme. This programme should take in water via the appropriate flow meter.
If the machine display does not indicate a fault, the flow meter is in order.
