Installation and commissioning
Before installing the communication module compare the con‐
nection data (voltage and frequency) on the data plate with that on
the data plate of your washer-disinfector. If the data does not
match, the module could sustain damage. If in any doubt, consult
an electrician.
Disconnect the washer-disinfector from the mains electricity supply.
Loosen the screws at the bottom of the back panel, disengage and
lift the back panel off.
Remove any stickers or safety caps as necessary from the slot
aperture.
Push the module into the module slot. Gently push the module until
it clicks into place.
Refit the back panel
Connect the cable between the module and the terminal device.
Ensure when connecting the cable that it does not become kinked
or trapped.
Only use terminal devices (printers etc.) which are approved ac‐
cording to EN/IEC 60950.
Connect the washer-disinfector to the electrical supply.
The module is supplied with electricity via the washer-disinfector.
An additional electrical connection is not necessary.
Switch the washer-disinfector on using the button.
After a couple of seconds the red LED on the module indicates that it
is ready for use and configuration of the interface can begin. To do
this, follow the information in "Further settings / Interface" in the oper‐
ating instructions for your washer-disinfector.
