8. CLEANING UPHOLSTERY

(mattresses, sofas, car interiors, etc.)
WARNING: Before cleaning leather or fa-
brics with steam, consult the manufacturer's
instructions and always carry out a test on a
hidden part or on a sample of the material.
Allow the steamed part to dry to make sure
that no changes in colour or deformations
have occurred.
Use only the Portable Steam Cleaner.
Ensure that Chapter 1 has been followed.
Turn on the appliance following the instruc-
tions listed in Point 2.4 and connect the ac-
cessories as shown in Chapter 3.
8.1 Connect the small window-cleaning brush
to the Portable Cleaner or the lance (the lance
can be connected to the flexible hose for diffi-
cult-to-reach areas).
8.2 Attach the cap to the small brush (18).
8.3 Adjust the intensity of the steam by tur-
ning the adjustment knob (12); for this type of
surface we recommend Minimum level of
steam.
8.4 Hold the steam trigger down (19) on the
handle and pass over the surface.

WORKTOPS
Use only the Portable Steam Cleaner.
Ensure that Chapter 1 has been followed.
Turn on the appliance following the instruc-
tions listed in Point 2.4 and connect the ac-
cessories as shown in Chapter 3.
9.1 Connect the lance to the Portable Cleaner
(the lance can be connected to the flexible
hose for difficult-to-reach areas).
9.2 Connect the most suitable accessory de-
pending on the need:
• lance or concentrator for difficult-to-reach
areas.
• round brushes to remove encrusted dirt.
• grout accessory to clean between tiles or to
remove dirt from very narrow surfaces.
9.3 Adjust the intensity of the steam by turning
the adjustment knob (12); for this type of surface
we recommend Maximum level of steam.
9.4 Hold the steam trigger down (19) on the
handle and pass over the surface.

10. CLEANING FURNITURE AND DE-
LICATE SURFACES
WARNING: Before cleaning fabrics with
steam, consult the manufacturer's instruc-
tions and always carry out a test on a hidden
part or on a sample of the material.
Use only the Portable Steam Cleaner.
Ensure that Chapter 1 has been followed.
Turn on the appliance following the instruc-
tions listed in Point 2.4 and connect the ac-
cessories as shown in Chapter 3.
10.1 Connect the lance to the Portable Cleaner.
10.2 Adjust the intensity of the steam by tur-
ning the adjustment knob (12); for this type of
surface we recommend Minimum level
of steam.
10.3 Press and hold the steam trigger on the
handle (19) and direct the jet onto a cloth.
WARNING: Do not direct the steam jet di-
rectly onto surfaces.
10.4 Use the cloth previously steamed to
clean the surface, avoiding prolonged use on
the same spot.
11. OTHER GENERAL USES
WARNING: Before cleaning the surface,
always do a test on a hidden part and see
how it reacts to the application of steam.
11.1 BRIGHTENING UP CURTAINS AND DRA-
PES
Mites and dust can be removed from curtains
and drapes by steaming the fabric directly
from the Portable Cleaner. The steam is able
to remove odours and brighten up colours, al-
lowing the fabric to be washed less frequen-
tly.
For this surface, set the steam to level mini-
mum.
11.2 REMOVING STAINS FROM CARPETS AND
UPHOLSTERY
WARNING: Steam.
Risk of scalding!
Direct the steam directly onto the stain with the
greatest angle possible (never vertically with re-
spect to the surface to be cleaned) and place a
cloth beyond the stain to collect the dirt that has
been "blown" away by the steam pressure.
