1. GAS SUPPLY
This appliance must be used only with pierceable
butane cartridges in compliance with Standard EN
417 - type 200.
We recommend using the OXYTURBO cartridge,
model Butan 190 g cod. 483000.
CAUTIONS
•
The
use
of
other
cartridges
may
be
dangerous.
•
Do not use dented cartridges.
•
Remove any labels or dirt from the piercing
point and the seal on the dome.
2. PUTTING INTO SERVICE
2.1 INSERTING OR CHANGING THE CARTRIDGE
Gas cooker with plastic cartridge holder
-
Make sure the gas cooker valve is closed, turn
adjusting knob (4) clockwise (-).
-
Completely unscrew the lower part (1) (fig.1).
-
Fit a new gasket (2) if damaged or missing.
-
Insert the new cartridge (fig.2).
-
Re-tighten the lower cartridge support all the
way (1) (fig.3).
Gas cooker with cartridge holder clips.
-
Unscrew the burner from the upper metallic cap
of cartridgeholder (3a) and turn the adjusting
knob (4) anticlockwise (-)
-
Check that an efficient gasket is correctly placed
on the piercing system of the device (picture 6);
if the gasket is damaged, do not use the device
and contact the shopkeeper
-
Insert a cartridge in the metallic cap (3a): fix
it rotating clips innerly and placing down the
cartridge (picture 4)
-
Screw the burner on the thread of the metallic
cap gripping the clips to guarantee the seal of
the device (picture 5).
-
The cartridge has therefore been pierced; if gas
does not pass through, do not disconnect but
contact the shopkeeper.
CAUTIONS
•
Be sure that flame on the burner is put out
before disconnecting the cartridge.
•
Changing or inserting the cartridge must be
performed in a well ventilated area, preferably
outdoors away from inflammable materials or
substances and from glowing sources of heat
(such as naked flames, lit cigarettes, electrical
rings, etc.) far away from persons or animals.
•
Make sure the cartridge is empty before
changing it (see 5.4).
•
Do not use the gas cooker if the gasket (2) is
damaged or missing (see 5.3).
•
To protect the environment, dispose of the
cartridge in a safe place and preferably in a
recycling bin.
3. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

anticlockwise direction.
-
Immediately press the ignition button down until
the gas leaving the burner ignites.
Gas cooker with normal ignition.
-
Turn the adjusting knob (4), one turn in an

The gas cooker must be used in a well-
ventilated area, away from inflammable
materials or substances.
-
The gas cooker must always be placed on a
steady, flat surface at a safety distance from
walls or other objects (fig.4).

Once the gas cooker is lit, let it warm up for 30
seconds. If the gas cooker is not completely
warmed up or moved brusquely it may flare
up. If this happens, keep the gas cooker in a
vertical position for a few seconds.
-
When lit the gas cooker should never be left
unsupervised.
-
During use, parts of the gas cooker can reach
high temperatures. Keep children away. After
putting it out let it cool before handling.
-
It is dangerous to use damaged or incorrectly
functioning equipment.
-
In case of gas delivery problems, check there
is gas in the cartridge (see 5.4). If so, the
problem could be resolved by cleaning the
injector (see 5.5).
-
If the piezoelectric device presents faults,
check the ignition electrode (see 5.6).
4. STORAGE
-
Replace the gas cooker in its wrapping or in its
box and store it in a cool, dry, and well ventilated
place.
CAUTIONS
When the cartridge is inserted in the gas
cooker
•
Protect from sunlight.
•
Do not expose to temperatures greater than 50°
C.

following these instructions, take your gas
cooker back to the retailer.
5.1 GAS LEAKS
-
If your appliance leaks gas (gas smell) take it
outdoors immediately to a well ventilated area,
away from inflammable sources where the seal
can be checked.
5.2 CHECKING THE SEAL
-
This check must be carried out only in the open
air: use either soapy water or a gas leak detector
(Gascontrol cod. 405020). Do not use flames.
-
Spray detector on the area to be checked.
-
The forming of bubbles or foam is a sign of a
leak.
5.3 CHANGING THE GASKET
-
Remove the worn gasket from its seat.
-
Insert the new gasket into the seat by pushing
its edges down with a flat screwdriver paying
attention not to damage it.
5.4 CHECKING THE CARTRIDGE CHARGE
-
Make sure the gas cooker valve is closed, rotate
adjusting knob (4) clockwise.
-
Shake to check if the noise of the liquid gas can
still be heard.
5.5 INJECTOR CLEANING
-
Unscrew
the
burner
in
an
anticlockwise
direction.
-
Remove the injector with a hexagonal spanner.
-
Clean the injector by blowing through the hole.
-
Re-fit the injector and screw it down well.Check
the seal (see 5.2).
-
Remount the burner with the areas without holes
in line with the fins of the grill. On some models
the grill is mounted corresponding to the seats
on the gas cooker base.
CAUTIONS
•
Do no use needles or pins to clean the
injector, damage could result making the gas
cooker dangerous.
•
If the blockage cannot be removed, substitute
the injector.
5.6 CHECKING THE PIEZOELECTRIC IGNITION
ELECTRODE
-
Make sure the distance between the electrode
and the burner is between 4 and 6 mm.
