h) Track Sampling Function (Intro)
• Use the button „INTRO" (27) on the IR remote control to activate the track sampling function. The display
briefly shows „ITR ON".
The first ten seconds of every available track are played.
• Pushing the button „INTRO" (27) again switches off the sampling function again. The display briefly
shows „ITR OFF".
i) Track Repetition Function
• Push the button „REPEAT" (19) on the IR remote control once to continually repeat the current track.
• Push the button „REPEAT" (19) on the IR remote control twice to continually repeat all available tracks.
• Push the button „REPEAT" (19) on the IR remote control thrice to switch off track repetition.
j) Random Playback
• Use the button „RANDOM" (20) on the IR remote control to switch on random playback. The display
briefly shows „RAN ON".
Playback of the available tracks on the CD or USB data carrier now takes place in a random order.
• Pushing the button „RANDOM" (20) again switches off the sampling function again. The display briefly
shows „RAN OFF".
k) Encoding Function
You can use the CD player to convert music tracks from your audio-CDs in MP3 format with the encoding
function and save them on the connected USB data carrier.
• Insert an audio CD. After it has been recognised and read, push the button „ENCODING" (G).
• „REC" lights up on the display. After this display no longer flashes, the CD is played back and all tracks
on the USB medium are saved as MP3 files.
• Push the button „

To convert only specific tracks of the CD, push the button „MEM" (11) on the IR remote control
and enter the track number with the number buttons. Push the „MEM" (11) button again after
each track selection as confirmation. After having created a playback list, you can use the enco-
ding function as described above to convert only the desired tracks.
• The MP3 files are saved in the folder „RECORD" in the root directory of the USB data carrier.
