ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
2.2
Single-phase compressors are supplied with an electric
cord and a two-pole plug.
It is important to connect the compressor to a current
socket protected by an adequate circuit breaker switch
(fig.15).
OPERATION
2.3
Check that the mains power matches that indicated
on the electrical rating plate (fig.15), the permissible
tolerance range is +/-5%.
Insert the plug in the current socket and start the
compressor by bringing the switch (g) into position "I /
ON" (fig.15).
The winder is composed of an automatic locking
mechanism that allows stoppage of the desired length
of hose.
Never wind the hose uncontrollably.
The locking system produces a metallic noise during
unwinding and winding; it is not a defect. If the noise
changes after several applications and/or if you have
problems with the mechanism, please contact a service
centre.
Tube unwinding: Carefully remove the tube from the
housing; after having unwound the necessary tube,
loosen the socket slightly, so that when a "CLICK" is
heard, the block is engaged. Check that the tube is
blocked before leaving it.

Rewinding the hose: Loosen the block by pulling
outwards. Allow the hose to retract in a controlled
manner, accompanying it until it completely retracts
into the retractor.
On the quick coupling (c) on the end of the hose,
connect the desired accessories (d) (fig. 16) and pulling
the hose you can easily reach the use point of the
compressed air.
At the end of each use:
- completely rewind the hose by accompanying it to its
compartment;
- stop the compressor bringing the switch to position
"0 / OFF" (fig.15).
MOTOR PROTECTION DEVICES (fig.18)
2.4
The compressor may stop suddenly. In this case, the
thermal protection of the motor may have tripped.
The compressor powered at (V. 230) is equipped with
an INTERNAL AUTOMATICALLY REARMING thermal
protection switch; if it trips, bring the ON/OFF switch to
the OFF position, wait a few minutes and restart.
The compressor powered at (V. 120) is equipped
with an EXTERNAL automatically rearming thermal
protection switch; if it trips, bring the ON/OFF switch to
the OFF position, wait a few minutes BEFORE PRESSING
THE RESET BUTTON and restart work.
If the protection trips again after restarting, you are
advised to switch off the compressor, detach the
electrical power supply and contact an authorised
service centre.
