AC connection
Option 1. Cable diameter 12 ~ 20 mm: cables pass through M40 packing gland
Remove the cable grommet membrane and install a M40 packing gland (supplied with the unit). Ensure
that the packing gland is fitted with a reducer that allows to maintain the seal in this range of cable
diameters. Fit the packing gland in the unit and pass the cable with its terminal through it.
Option 2. Cable diameter 20 ~ 28 mm: cables pass through M40 cable grommet membrane
Use the cable grommet membrane fitted as standard in the AC cable accesses. Fit the spade on the
cable. Insert the cable with its terminal through the membrane in the unit. For this operation we can use
a soapy solution. The cable itself will help to remove the plug in the membrane. Place the terminal in its
terminal block.
4.
Connect the three phases, neutral and ground to the terminals marked R, S, T, N and PE, respecting the
polarities. The torque for the terminals is 28 Nm.
CAUTION
If connecting the unit to a TN-C network, connect the three phases to the R, S, T terminals and the PEN wire
to the PE terminal. Connect a cable with a gauge of 6 mm
order to have a neutral intake.
5.
If the membrane has been used for passing the cables, check that it is correctly fitted in the unit. If a
packing gland has been used, ensure that it has the correct sealing, leaving a bit of slack in the cables so
they are not tight.
