Graphic index function
The graphic index, shown in the upper part of the display,
marks the percentage of the pressure detected according to
the full range of the instrument.
OverRange Function.
This function, always active, alerts the user in case the
pressure applied at the inputs trips beyond the instruments
limits for an accurate reading as well as for the safety of the
internal sensor. When these limits are exceeded a series of
acoustic warning beeps is played and the flashing symbol
'ALM' is displayed on the LCD.
At the same time on the lower row of the LCD the type of
alarm is shown: 'OFL' (overflow) when the pressure is positive
or 'UFL' (underflow) when the pressure is negative.
Auto-Shut-Off function.
The manometer features an auto-shut-off function, designed in
order to save the battery life. This function can be set in the
configuration menu and in case it has been activated the
symbol '
' is shown in the upper left corner of the display.
When
the
auto-shut-off
automatically turns off after the programmed number of
minutes has elapsed without any key being pressed. When
this time is about to expire the internal buzzer plays some
beeps in sequence.
LowBatt Function.
The instrument continuously checks for the batteries charge
level. In case the battery level falls below the 6.5V threshold
(battery low) the symbol '
corner of the display. To replace batteries please follow the
directions explained in the 'Preliminary Operations' chapter.
PRESSURE MEASUREMENT
The instrument features two input ports for pressure, allowing
the following types of measurement:
Positive pressure measurement: apply pressure to be
measured at instrument positive input (right side) and keep the
other open (unconnected).
Negative
(depressure)
pressure to be measured at instrument negative input (left
side) and keep the other open (unconnected).
Differential pressure measurement: when both inputs are
used the instrument shows the difference between the
pressure applied at positive input (right side) and negative
input (left side). Best measurement accuracy is obtained when
the higher pressure is applied at the positive input.

CALIBRATION
Each instrument is factory calibrated and carries a certificate
stating the good completion of the calibration procedure, as
well as the conformity of the declared accuracy against a
sample instrument whose calibration can be traced to an
international standard.
Upon request and at ordering time a calibration certificate with
all calibration points and measured values can be issued.
The suggested re-calibration interval for a normal use of the
instrument is 12 months.
In the view of a constant development of their products, the manufacturer
reserves the right for changing technical data and features without prior notice.
The consumer is guaranteed against any lack of conformity according to the
European Directive 1999/44/EC as well as to the Seitron document about the
warranty policy. The full text of warranty is available on request from the seller.

FONCTIONNEMENT

DESCRIPTION DES COMMANDES
'
