OVERVIEW
This device is a portable digital micromanometer for the
everyday use in the plumbing market. This instrument features
a digital auto-zeroing function, hold, several measurement
units and a programmable auto-shut-off feature.
Power supply is assured by six 1.5V AAA type alkaline batteries.
OPERATION
PRELIMINARY SETUP
Before using the instrument it is mandatory to perform the
following operations:
Insert the batteries included in the package in the relevant
compartment, paying attention to their polarity. In order to
remove the battery compartment plastic cover please apply a
slight pressure towards the inner side on the plastic leverage
(C fig. 2).

KEYS DESCRIPTION

'
' On/Off key.
In order to turn the instrument on or off keep depressed the
'
' key for at least 2 seconds. The instrument plays one beep
at turning-on and three beeps at turning-off.
A prolonged depressing of the '
introduced to avoid undesired activations.
' > 0 < ' Autozero key.
Key ' > 0 < ' starts the auto-zero procedure.
When auto-zero is performed the 'auto-zero' sign appears on
the display and the lower digits start blinking. A short beep
indicates that the procedure has terminated. While auto-zero is
running the manometer acquires the pressure value applied at
the input ports and assumes it as a zero reference value for
any successive measurement.
For a correct zeroing procedure the input ports (A and B in
fig. 1) must be both left open to atmospheric pressure.

' H ' Hold key.
The ' H ' key starts the 'HOLD' mode.
This function allows to 'freeze' the actual pressure reading
displayed on the lower row of the LCD.
When this mode is entered, symbol 'HOLD' on the display is
turned on and, at the same time, a short beep is played. When
in 'HOLD' mode the upper row on the LCD keeps displaying
the pressure value currently measured (in other words it
'follows' the input pressure variation, if any), meanwhile the
lower row shows the 'frozen' value. Each time the 'H' key is
shortly depressed the pressure value measured at the inputs is
sampled and displayed in the lower row until no other keys are
depressed. In order to exit from 'HOLD' mode keep depressed
for about one second the 'H' key.
' UNIT ' Mesurement Unit Key.
Pressing the 'UNIT' key results in changing the pressure
measurement unit to which the value currently shown on the
LCD is referred. Each time the 'UNIT' key is depressed the
instrument changes the measurement unit according the
following sequence:
=> Pa => hPa => kPa => PSI => mmHg => mmH2O =>
The new measurement unit is stored in the internal nonvolatile
memory therefore remaining set for any following instrument
turn-on.
' SET ' Set Key.
When this key is depressed for at least two seconds, the
instrument enters in the parameters setting menu.
From inside this menu the user can walk through the type of
parameter by pressing the 'SET' (selection) key, meanwhile
the value of the parameter currently shown can be modified by
pressing the 'FUNC' (modify) key.
The selected value is activated once the 'SET' is depressed
thus passing to the next parameter.
The user is allowed to set the following parameters:
P1:
Buzzer activation.
Once entered in the parameters setting, the instrument shows
the 'buZZ' parameter, through which the user can enable or
disable the internal buzzer. In order to change the current
value press the 'FUNC' key: this value can be set as
'On' (enabled) or 'OFF' (disabled).
Factory setting for this parameter is 'enabled'.
P2:
Auto-Shut-Off time setting.
From the former parameter 'buZZ', by pressing once the 'SET'
key, the auto-shut-off time setting can be modified ('toFF').
This parameter can be set from 1 to 30 minutes in 1 minute
steps through the 'FUNC' key. This function is disabled by
pressing the 'FUNC' key until the value 'OFF' is displayed.
