SWITCHING ON
To use Astro, you must first connect
the power cord to the electrical socket
using the plug supplied.
Two keys on the body of the Astro
radiator, acting as indicator LEDs as
well as touch controls, show when the
device is switched on or off.
Only when first switched on, Astro
automatically performs the set-up and
the two LEDs emit WHITE light for 10
seconds. Astro then goes into Stand-by
mode and the user can select the desi-
red operating mode.
Lo Stand-by Stand-by mode is indicated
when the ON/OFF control lights up
turning RED, and the MODE control
switches off, followed by a beep.

OPERATING MODES

Make sure that the device is in Stand-by
mode. The operating modes can be se-
lected using the two keys on the body
of Astro that act as touch controls, as
well as indicator LEDs.
To turn on the desired control, simply
lightly touch the icon corresponding
to that control with your finger. Do not
press.
• VENTILATION/SANITIZING mode
Ventilation includes air sanitizing (with
an efficiency of 85%-95% for particles
of up to 1 micron) and purification of
pollen, bacteria, mould, spores and bad
smells from the air due to the presence
of an F7 category filter and active car-
bon.
It is turned on using the following pro-
cedure:
• First touch on ON/OFF control
which lights up WHITE.At the same
time the MODE control
BLUE light.
The device's motor will switch on and
the top shelf will be raised to reveal the
grille and allowing air circulation.
The radiator does not heat at this stage.
Ventilation remains on in all heating
modes that are subsequently switched
on; for this reason, the top shelf is
always raised until the device is swi-
tched off.
• HEATING Mode
Heating involves emission of a flow of
hot air through the openings in the
grille, adjusted to three different flow
rates. It is turned on using the following
procedure:
• Touch the MODE control
cond: the LED turns GREEN and the
device emits a low flow of hot air
(about 500W – MINIMUM power);
• Touch the MODE control
for 1 second: the LED turns DARK YEL-
LOW and the device emits a medium
