GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Please read these instructions for use through carefully
before starting up the NEBUSTEAM
Andreas Fahl Medizintechnik-Vertrieb GmbH neither
warrants faultless function, nor will Andreas Fahl
Medizintechnik-Vertrieb GmbH accept liability for damage
to persons or property, if:
• no original accessory parts and spare parts are used,
• the instructions regarding proper use in these
instructions for use are disregarded,
• assembly, readjustments, modifications, extensions
and repairs have not been carried out by persons and
companies who have been authorised by Andreas Fahl
Medizintechnik-Vertrieb GmbH.
The NEBUSTEAM
rules of technology and the provisions of the Medical
Devices Act.
No warranty claims are accepted in the event of damages
or malfunctions that have arisen due to the use of
accessories or consumables from external companies.
The device must not be operated in environments exposed
to explosion hazard and enriched with oxygen.

humidification of the airways. Only medications or other
inhalants approved for use in inhalation therapy may be
used
The device must not be operated in areas exposed to
splash water or in zones exposed to explosion hazard.
The NEBUSTEAM INHALER may only be used by
®
persons who have been briefed in the medical application.
To disconnect from the mains power supply, pull the
mains plug out of the wall socket:
• before cleaning and performing maintenance on the
device,
• each time before leaving the room.
Do not pull the plug out of the wall socket by pulling on
the cable!
Never touch the plug or the cable with wet hands.
CAUTION!
• Keep the air vents open. Do not place the unit on a soft
surface where the openings can be blocked.
• Do not operate the unit if the water tank is empty.
• Never use without water in the water heater tank.
• Attention: possible spray water / steam can cause
scalding.
• Never fill aromatic oils or inhalants / medication into
the steam tank.
• Do not use distilled water under any circumstances as
this could impair your health
• Always remove the remaining water from the steam
tank
• Observe the cooling time of at least 10 minutes after
switching off the device and before opening the
steam tank. The remaining water may still be hot after
complying with the cooling time!
• In case of malfunctions, for example, overboiling of
the steam tank, always disconnect the mains plug first
before touching the device.
• Do not tilt or shake the unit when in operation.
• Keep your eyes away from the output of vapor mist.
• The maximum capacity of the water heater tank is
25 ml and should not be overfilled.
• The maximum capacity of the inhalants tank is 80 ml
and should not be overfilled.
