Connecting a component device
Cables are sold separately.
Input 1 and 2 each have both Component
and Video connectors, which share L/R
audio connectors. Connect only one video
input for each input set.

Connect the component cable to the Component
(Y, Pb, Pr) connectors. There are two sets of
Component connectors you can use: Input 1 or
Input 2.

Connect the component audio cable to the L/R
audio connectors for Input 1 or Input 2.

Connect the cables to the component device.

Turn on the device, and start play.

Connect power to the TV; see "Connecting power
to the TV" on page 16.

Turn on the TV; see "Turning the TV On and Off

Define the Input Select for the connector in the
Option menu; refer to "Using the Option Menu"
on page 32.
Connecting an S-video or video device
A VCR, game console, camcorder, or some other
audiovisual equipment can be connected using Input 3
terminals.
Input 3 has both S-video and Video
connectors, which share L/R audio
connectors. Connect only one video input
for Input 3.

Connect the video equipment to the Input 3
connectors:
For a VCR, DVR, or other device that has an

S-video connector, use an S-video cable and
the S-video connector.
Or
For a VCR, DVR, or other device that has a

composite video connector, use a composite
video cable and the Video connector.
