General

Before commissioning this product, please ensure that you have
read these instructions thoroughly and checked the product for
any damage. Make sure that these operating instructions are
kept in a safe place. Never use the product if it shows any signs
of damage. This product must be kept out of reach of children
and unauthorised persons. Always ensure compliance with
these instructions during installation and operation. The product
must be correctly disposed of at the end of its life service.
Electronic components must be placed with hazardous waste.
Batteries must be disposed of in an environmentally friendly
manner and recycled where possible. Our warranty does not
apply to batteries already installed or any included in delivery.

Function

By transmitting a radio signal to the receiver, the radio entry
warning device warns you about persons entering an area
monitored by the infrared lens. It can also be used as an alarm
device. At the same time, a signal-tone can also be heard on
the transmitter (this can be turned off) and you can regulate the
volume.
The transmitter can either be operated with batteries or with a
mains power pack. The mains-operated receiver can be used
immediately after plugging it into any socket. The volume can
be regulated to three levels. An additional, bright signal lamp
makes the FR 74 also sutibale for use by those with impaired
hearing.
If the transmitter is installed in a splash-proof manner,
operation of the transmitter in exposed areas is also guranteed.
