Installation - Safety warnings for use
It is necessary to add 1 l of water for the appliance to work properly. Do not forget to refill the water pan every 60 minutes
on average. However, the preparation of certain recipes makes the water level go down more quickly. To prevent any problems,
check the water level regularly and never leave the appliance running unsupervised.
If you have to add water during cooking:
> switch off the appliance > using a pot holder or a pull handle, carefully pull the water pan towards you, only removing it
partially > fill the water pan with a maximum of 1 l of water using a jug > replace the water pan under the element support
(do this with care so as not to spill the water) > switch on the appliance again.
Your appliance possesses a thermal safety system. This cuts the power supply in the event of overheating and the indicator
light switches off. This is often due to a lack or an absence of water in the water pan. Likewise, if an unusually large
amount of smoke is being given off, unplug your appliance immediately.
Leave it to cool down for a while. If you subsequently wish to turn it on again, refill the water pan and then plug it in again.
