Hanging/Setting up
Use the hook to hang the product only.
• The product can be hung up
using the hook. Fold open
the hook (see illustration at
right). Hook the smaller side
of the hook under the
handle (1) and hang the
larger side of the hook on a
tent pole, etc. Both ends of
the hook rotate 360°.
• To set up the product, place
it on a horizontal, stable
surface.
Operation
• Push the on/off button (3). The neutral white light turns on. The battery indicator lights up for
a few seconds to show the battery charge state.
• Repeatedly and quickly press the on/off switch (within 2 seconds) to switch between the
product's modes: Light mode 1 (neutral white) > light mode 2 (cold white) > light mode 3
(warm white) > flickering mode
• Turn the light controller (3) clockwise to increase
brightness and counterclockwise to dim (see
illustration at right).
• Wait for longer than 2 seconds and press the on/
off button again. The light goes out.
• Turn the lamp shade (2) counter clockwise to
remove it for a wider beam.
Cleaning and care
• Never submerge the product in water.
• Remove the batteries before cleaning.
• Under no circumstances use aggressive cleanings agents, cleaning alcohol or other chemical
solutions since these can penetrate the housing or impair functionality.
• Use a dry, soft cloth for cleaning the product.
Disposal
a) Product
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the
household waste. At the end of its service life, dispose of the product in accordance
with applicable regulatory guidelines.
Remove any inserted batteries and dispose of them separately from the product.
b) Batteries
You as the end user are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to return all used
batteries. Disposing of them in the household waste is prohibited.
Contaminated batteries are labeled with this symbol to indicate that disposal in the
domestic waste is forbidden. The designations for the heavy metals involved are: Cd
= Cadmium, Hg = Mercury, Pb = Lead (name on batteries, e.g. below the trash icon
on the left).
Used batteries can be returned to collection points in your municipality, our stores or wherever
batteries are sold.
You thus fulfill your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
