must not be underrun and the maximum
permissible pressure for the product is
not exceeded.
• Unrestrained compressed air hoses as
well as the resultant fragments or dust
being blown around can cause injuries.
Pull all hose clamps tight before com-
mencing work and replace damaged
supply lines.
• Blow through or clean connections
before using for the first time. Soiling can
impair the function and and safety of the
product.
• Disconnect the product from the com-
pressed air supply during breaks in work,
prolonged periods of non-use or taking
out of operation.
• The product may only be connected to
lines that have a protection mechanism to
prevent the maximum permissible pres-
sure from being exceeded by more than
10%. This can be achieved, for example,
by a pressure regulating valve with a
downstream or built-in pressure limiting
valve being fitted into the compressed air
line.
• Only operate the product at the pressure
required for the operation concerned, in
order to prevent unnecessarily high noise
levels, excessive wear and the resultant
malfunctions.
• Compressed air can be dangerous if the
operator is unsure how it should be han-
dled. Assembly, commissioning and
maintenance is reserved for trained and
experienced persons.
• Do not direct compressed air at yourself
or at others in order to clean clothing and
footwear.
• Never blast objects that contain hazard-
ous substances (e.g. asbestos).
• Never use solvent-based liquids, ace-
tone, undiluted acids or solvents as
cleaning agents! A spray mist from these
substances is highly hazardous to health
and possibly explosive.
• Live components in the work area must
be protected from dirt and dust particles
being blown around.
• Only use compressed air. Never use air
containing chemicals, synthetic oils
(organic solvents), salts or corrosive gas,
as it can cause damage and malfunc-
tions.
• Use only lubricants recommended by the
manufacturer.
• Compressed air products are not
earthed. Proceed with caution when
coming into contact with power sources.
• Always attach protective caps when
transporting or storing products and
accessories.
Device-specific safety instructions
• Pay attention and ensure that the room
you are working in is always well venti-
lated.
• Always wear appropriate protective
clothing. Wear impact-proof goggles, ear
defenders, dust protection masks,
gloves, sturdy shoes and closely fitted
clothing to reduce the risk of injury.
• Check in advance whether the coating
substance you wish to use is compatible
with the device. A list of the substances
used to manufacture the device can be
made available on request.
• Pay attention to additional relevant docu-
ments, for example, data sheets regard-
ing the coating substances and recom-
mendations of other manufacturers.
• Pay attention to ensure that there are no
sources of ignition in the area in which
you are working (e.g. naked flame, burn-
ing cigarettes, lamps that are not explo-
sion-protected etc.).
• Never spray onto a naked flame, hot sur-
face or lighting.
• When working with the device make sure
the area is well lit.
• When working, ensure a stable stance
and a natural position.
• Never insert pointed and/or metallic
objects into the inside of the device.
• Symbols affixed to your device may not
be removed or covered. Information on
the device that is no longer legible must
be replaced immediately.
Before putting the unit into opera-
tion, read and observe the instruc-
tions for use.
Keep away from sources of ignition.
Personal safety equipment
