INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Do not force the cutting through strong and thick material The cutting speed can be reduced for this. In this case slow the cutting speed.
Do not cut branches or twigs with a diameter of 15 mm or material that is obviously too big for the cutter. Use a different, suitable tool for this.
If the cutter sticks, stop the motor, remove the battery and release the cutter. You can use a piece of string as a guide to determine and check the cutting height on a hedge. See
figure 5 Place the piece of string on the hedge for the length and width and cut your hedge at this height. This achieves an optimum cut for your hedge. See figure 6
Wear safety goggles if there are thorns or prickly plants. When cutting new shoots, use a sweeping motion to cut the material. Older growth is more solid and can be cut with a
normal forwards motion.
DANGER
Never touch the cutter if you get an electric cable in the cutter. By cutting into the cable, the cutter can become live and carry this voltage. Only hold the
device by the insulated read handle, slowly put down the device. Disconnect the damaged cable from the power supply (pull out the plug, switch off the
fuse) and release the cutter. Misuse can lead to serious injuries or death.
WARNING
Check the cutting area before starting work. Remove all objects such as string, cables or fence parts.
These can get in the cutter and lead to injuries and damage.
WARNING
When cleaning the plastic parts, do not use solvents. Most plastics are sensitive to solvents and can be damaged by their use.
Use a clean cloth to remove dirt such as dust, oil, lubricants etc.
Only use original spare parts for maintenance.
The use of other parts can cause danger or damage the product.
WARNING
Never bring plastic parts into contact with liquids such as petrol-based products, oil, brake fluid, fuels and diluents. These can attack plastic materials or
destroy them.
