activated. Lift your other foot and place it on the hoverboard's pedal.
If the light does not come on, or if an alarm sounds when you step on the
hoverboard, switch it off and try again.
Once you have got your balance, lean slightly forwards to move forwards. The more
you lean forwards, the faster you will move. Avoid sudden movements!
If you lean backwards, the hoverboard will move backwards.
Press the right pedal forward to turn left,Press the left pedal forward to turn right.
If you stand bolt upright on the hoverboard, it will stop.
Make sure you do not move sideways on slopes, as this may cause you to lose your
balance.
Relax your feet and slightly lower your centre of gravity when you ride the
hoverboard. This will make it easier to keep the balance.
Stand up and keep still on the hoverboard before getting off. First move one foot
down onto the ground behind the hoverboard and once you are standing securely on
the ground, remove your other foot from the hoverboard.
Switch the hoverboard off using the on/off button. If you do not switch off the
hoverboard, it will automatically lock after a short period to avoid unintentional
starting. Unlock the hoverboard again to continue using it.
Built-in safety functions
If the hoverboard registers a fault or failure, a built-in safety program will intervene.
This may happen in the following circumstances:
If the hoverboard leans forward or backward more than 10 degrees or if it tilts for
more than 30 seconds, an alarm will light up and sound.
If the hoverboard leans forward or backward more than 35 degrees, the hoverboard
will be automatically switched off.
If a wheel is blocked for 2 seconds, the hoverboard will be automatically switched
off.
If the speed exceeds 10 km/h, an alarm will sound and the hoverboard will
automatically tilt towards the horizontal to decelerate.
If the speed accelerates intermittently, or if the hoverboard is used erratically, an
alarm will sound.
If the battery is about to run out of power, the hoverboard will enter self- protection
mode. Do not continue to use the hoverboard. Charge it fully to avoid damaging the
battery.
