SYNTHETIC MATERIAL / KETTALUX / KETTALUX-PLUS
SYNTHETIC MATERIAL – Garden and leisure furniture is characterized
by high quality, longevity and high stability. They are weatherproof and
100% recyclable.
KETTALUX garden and leisure furniture is made of high quality synthetic
material in a 2-component process, whereby the core consists of
environmentally friendly recycled material.
KETTALUX-PLUS garden and leisure furniture is additionally sealed with
a UV-hardened lacquer coating.
Like the lacquer coating of high-quality indoor furniture, KETTALUX-
PLUS lacquering should be treated carefully. To prevent scratches and
damages of the lacquered surface do not or only carefully move objects
(especially stoneware, metal, etc.).
The surface is easy to clean. For regular care, clean your KETTLER
garden and leisure furniture with a soft cloth and a warm soap solution
or standard household cleaner. Special plastic cleaners can be
purchased alternatively in stores.
Please note that the lacquer coating and synthetic surfaces can be
damaged by certain sun protection agents, which can lead to permanent
discolouration. Should the surface of your KETTLER garden and leisure
furniture come into contact with sun protection agents, please remove
them immediately to avoid any discolouration.
TEAK
Teak is extremely durable and weather resistant on account of its
positive characteristics. It requires no special surface treatment. As
teak is a living material, fine cracks may appear in the end grain. This
does not affect the durability of the material. Teak is a natural product
and is rich in natural oils.
The surface of untreated teak exposed to the weather becomes silver-
grey after some time. If you wish to maintain the light brown colour of
the wood, the furniture must be treated before first use and regularly
thereafter. The treatment must be repeated when the first signs of
weathering appear.
Special care and cleaning agents can be purchased from specialist
dealers.
