USEFUL RECOMMENDATIONS
• Start with the highest setting of the adjustable comb and gradually decrease it until you have
the desired hair length.
• For optimal results, use the appliance in the opposite direction of hair growth.
• Move the appliance in different directions (upwards, downwards and sideways) as not all hair
grows in the same direction.
• If a lot of hair accumulates in the adjustable comb (6 or 7), remove the latter from the appliance
and blow and/or shake the hair out.
• Take note of the hair length settings used to create a certain style as a reminder for future
sessions.
USING THE APPLIANCE WITHOUT THE ADJUSTABLE COMB (6 OR 7)
The appliance can also be used without the adjustable comb (6 or 7) to trim hair very close to the skin
(0.5 mm) or shape around the nape of the neck and the area around the ears.
Warning: When the appliance is used without the adjustable comb (6 or 7) it will cut very
close to the scalp.
• Remove the adjustable comb (6 or 7) by pressing the adjustment button (8) and sliding the
adjustable comb (6 or 7) off the appliance.
ATTENTION! Always turn off the appliance before cleaning and replacing the
accessories! Make sure that any components that have been cleaned with a damp cloth
are completely dry before using them again or putting them away!
WARNING: before every use of the product lubricate the blades well along their entire
length using the oil (11) supplied in the package. At the end of every use clean the
blades with the comb (10) supplied and lubricate them again.
Clean the appliance immediately after each use and when there is hair or dirt trapped in the
blade locking device.
• Do not clean the appliance with abrasive powders or liquids, such as alcohol or petrol.
• Do not place the appliance in water or any other form of liquid to prevent damaging it.
BLADE LOCKING DEVICE
• Switch the appliance off and disconnect the adaptor plug (9).
• Remove the adjustable comb (6 or 7) by pressing the adjustment button (8) and sliding the
adjustable comb (6 or 7) off the appliance.
• Push the middle part of the blade locking device (4) upwards with your thumb until it opens
[Fig. B1], then remove it from the appliance.
• Be careful not to drop the blade locking device (4).
• Clean the blade locking device (4) and the inside of the appliance with the brush supplied
[Fig. B2].
• Place the tab of the blade locking device (4) into the slot and snap the unit in position
[Fig. B3].
