Dear Mother, you have chosen the exclusive Brevi ultrasound humidifier that re-establishes the correct
level of humidity in the environment in which your child lives and purifies the air he breathes. The
ClimaRelax Brevi produces a constant and lasting flow of fine steam that remains suspended in the air
for a long time. The 1.8 litre water tank ensures that the action continues during the whole night, the most
suitable time for its use.
The air purification action: the advantage of ionization
Not only does ClimaRelax Brevi produce steam, but, thanks to cutting-edge Japanese technology, it also emits
negative ions to guarantee a greater cleaning level of the air in the environment in which the child lives. The
air we breath is charged with electric energy and is therefore rich in positive (+) and negative (-) ions. The
perfect balance between them results in our wellbeing. Air conditioning systems, cigarette smoke and insuffi-
cient ventilation cause an increase in the positive ions in the air, therefore creating an imbalance. To return
the balance to normality the air must be enriched with negative ions. Thanks to ClimaRelax, perfect air balan-
ce is re-established, contributing to our wellbeing.

WARNINGS
• Certain fundament rules must always be followed when using any electrical machine:
- Do not touch the machine with damp or wet hands
- Do not pull the power supply lead or the machine itself to pull the plug out of the electricity socket
- Never immerse the machine in water or other liquids.
Do not leave the machine exposed to atmospheric agents (rain, direct sunlight, etc.)
• This machine must only be used for the purpose for which it was designed (humidifier for domestic envi-
ronments). Any other usage must be considered incorrect and therefore dangerous. Brevi cannot be
considered liable for any damages deriving from improper, erroneous or unreasonable usage.
• Do not leave the packing materials (plastic bags, cardboard box, etc.) within the reach of children.
• Pull the power supply lead out of the electricity socket before carrying out any cleaning or maintenan-
ce operation on the machine.
• Keep the machine out of the reach of children, invalids or incompetent people.
• Make sure that the data on the rating plate (situated on the bottom of the machine) corresponds to the
mains data, before connecting the machine.
• Never try to dismantle, open or repair the machine personally; in the event of a fault or anomalous func-
tioning, always contact the authorised retailer from whom you bought the machine
• Do not use different types of leads from the ones supplied by the manufacturer
• Brevi considers itself liable for the safety, reliability and performance of the machine if:
- The machine is used according to the usage instructions
- Repair operations, adjustment modifications and assembly have been carried out by authorised technicians
- The electricity installation in the room complies with the relative applicable regulations

FUNCTIONING INSTRUCTIONS
1. After removing the machine from the base, before using it make sure that the components (base and
water tank) have not been damaged during transportation. If you have any doubts, do not use the
machine but contact professionally qualified personnel.
2. Do not use the machine before filling the water tank. Make sure there is always water in the tank when
the machine is running.
3. Use cold, clean tap water only; if the tap water contains a lot of lime, use distilled water or a deminera-
lising cartridge
4. Make sure the tank cap is always closed properly
5. Do not direct the steam flow towards furniture, walls or electric equipment sensitive to water (e.g. televi-
sions, computer, etc.). The humidifier will stop automatically when the water finishes, emitting an alarm
signal. Do not cover the vaporisation hole with towels or anything else while the machine is running.
6. Switch the machine off before pulling out the plug. Switch the machine off and pull out the plug when filling
the water tank, moving the machine or when it is not in use.
7. When moving the machine, do not turn the base over if it contains water. Before emptying operations,
read the instructions given on the label applied to the base. Do not move the machine when it is con-
nected to the power supply or when it is running.
8. Prevent children from inhaling the nebulized product straight from the vaporisation hole.
MAINTENANCE
1. Always switch the machine off and pull the plug out of the power socket before carrying out main-
tenance operations
2. Always allow the humidifier to cool down before cleaning it
3. Remove the water from the base following the instructions given on the inner label
4. Rinse the water tank twice a week, more often if you live in an area that has hard water. Lime depo-
sits could influence how the machine works, causing faults or serious damage. If it is difficult to clean
inside, rinse a couple of times with clean water. Dry the water tank and the base with a clean, soft
cloth. Do not rinse the machine by placing it directly under the tap.
5. Attention: if water remains in the tank for more than two days bacteria could form in the water.
6. Use a soft cloth dampened with water only for cleaning the outside of the machine. Do not use deter-
gents, solvents or abrasive substances
7. Do not rinse the machine with volatile solvents (e.g. benzene, ethanol), chemical drugs or alkaline
material to prevent damaging the plastic surface and the vaporiser
8. You are advised not to expose the machine to direct sunlight or to high temperatures. Keep the power
lead away from sources of heat and make sure it cannot trip anyone.
9. Do not use the machine if the power supply socket or wire are damaged. Contact a professional elec-
trician to replace the power supply wire.
10. Do not dismantle, repair, remount or modify the machine yourself; it could be dangerous. Contact
a professional electrician to eliminate any faults.
