7. MAINTENANCE AND SERVICE
Removal of safety devices, improper
maintenance or replacement of parts
with non-original spare parts can result in
severe bodily injury.
Always perform maintenance or service
tasks with the machine unplugged from
the power supply.
7.1. MAINTENANCE
This pressure group does not need maintenance,
however, to ensure a long life of the pump, the
following precautions are recommended:
• Visual inspection: A general visual inspection is
recommended to look for water leaks, loose parts
and to check the condition of the connections.
If you find any anomaly, repair it or take your
equipment to technical service.
• Cleaning: Regularly clean the exterior of the pump
using a damp cloth with a little soap. Do not use
chemicals as they can damage the pump casings.
• Long periods of inactivity: When you know that your
pump is going to be inactive for a long period of
time, it is a good idea to drain the water from inside
the pump. To do this, open the pump drain plug (7)
and the priming plug (6) so that the water comes
out.
• Risk of freezing: If there is a risk of the pump
freezing, drain the water from the pump.
• Clean the water filter regularly. Remove the filter
(10) by unscrewing the cap 11 and clean it with
water.
