CAUTION: A poorly fitting harness can be dangerous. You should only be able to fit one
finger between the harness and the child's body.
• To loosen the harness: Press the buttons on the adjusters located on the upper straps of
the harness, simultaneously grip the lower part of the harness and pull (19).

Reclining the seat

The seat has 4 reclining positions. To recline the seat, push the adjustment lever located
under the front of the seat upwards, then push or pull the shell of the seat forwards or back-

wards until you reach the desired position.
Instructions
Keep these instructions in the space provided at the back of the seat.

Maintenance advice

All fabric elements are removable (21). Reverse this procedure to reassemble the harness
and refit the cover (22) (23) (24).
For small stains, wash using a sponge moistened with soapy water, you can also hand
wash the covers at 30°C using water and detergent. Never use bleach, do not iron, do not
machine-wash, do not spin-dry.
WARNING
1. This car seat is a "Universal" child restraint system. It has been approved in accordance
with regulation N°44/04, and is suitable for general use in vehicles and is compatible with
the majority (some exceptions) of vehicle seats.
2. It is more likely that the seat is perfectly compatible if the vehicle manufacturer states that
its vehicles are suitable for taking "Universal" child restraint systems.
3. This restraint system is classified as "Universal" in accordance with the strictest approval
criteria, whereas earlier models do not correspond to these new provisions.
4. It can only be adapted to vehicles with 3-point safety belts that are either fixed or have a
roller mechanism and that have been approved compliant with the UN/ECE N° 16 or other
equivalent standards.
5. If in doubt, contact the manufacturer or retailer of the restraint system.
