Correct type of seat belt for installing your car seat
Your car seat should
your car seat to a seat equipped with a 2-point safety belt!
Installing the seat
Place your seat on the vehicle seat.
Unlock the two diagonal strap fasteners located on each side of the seat (2), then press the
button located at the front of the seat.
Extend the seatbelt and pass the diagonal strap through the two red strap guides located at
each side of the seat starting with the one on the side of the seatbelt reel (3), then buckle-up
the seatbelt (4).
Insert the lap strap into the guide located at the front of the seat
not twisted (6).
Push the seat firmly against the back of the car seat.
Tighten the lap strap of the seatbelt as much as possible by pulling in the direction shown (7),
then lock in place by pressing the lap strap locking button (8).
Repeat these steps with the diagonal strap
located on either side of the seat (11).
Make sure the seatbelt is not twisted.
Adjusting the harness
Make sure the harness is set at the right height for your child.
The harness straps can be adjusted to five different heights, the shoulder straps should be
close to the height of your child's shoulders (12).
The harness is adjusted automatically depending on the position of the headrest (13).
Harness Buckle
To do up the harness, bring the two strap tongues together
buckle, you should hear a 'click' (16).
To release the harness press the red button on the buckle (17).
Your car seat is fitted with an alarmed buckle. The alarm will alert you if the child opens the
buckle unexpectedly while travelling. Should the alarm be heard, immediately check the
harness is secure and the tension is correct.
Adjusting the harness

To tighten the harness: Pull the adjustment straps on each harness strap, you do not need
to press the buttons on the adjusters at this point (18). IMPORTANT: The car seat harnesses
are equipped with tension indicators. Green indicators will appear when the harness is suf-
