7. Connect the supplied power adapter to
the 9VDC port on the router and plug
the power adapter into a standard power
outlet.
8. Continue the on-screen instructions to
complete the installation of the USRo-
botics ADSL2+ Ethernet/USB
Modem/Router.

Windows Vista: If prompted by Windows Security, click Install.
o
Windows XP: If a "Hardware Installation" warning appears during installa-
tion, click Continue Anyway.
o
Windows 2000: If a "Digital Signature Not Found" warning appears during
installation, click Yes.
o
Windows Me and 98SE: You may be prompted to insert your Windows
Operating System CD-ROM.
9. Click Finish.
Step Four: Configure Your Router Using EasyConfigruator
You will need active ADSL and Internet service from your local telephone company or
Internet Service Provider (ISP) before you try to go on the Internet. You may need some
of the following information from your ISP:

VPI/VCI values
!
Authentication (PAP or CHAP) for PPP connections
!
IP address, user name and password (if they were assigned by your ISP)
!
Subnet mask, gateway, and DNS server information
