7. Oscillation
The oscillation can be switched On or Off using the oscillation switch at the top of
the fan heater on the control panel.
8. Child lock
The child lock function can help in preventing the fan heater from being switched
on accidentally by children. The locking mechanism can be set both in the ON as
well as in the OFF mode.
Press the "Up" button (
) and the "Down" button (
) simultaneously for
3 seconds. The lock is enabled if you hear a beep. If the child lock has been
enabled, the functions on the control panel and the remote control are locked
and cannot be used.
If you want to unlock the appliance, press the "Up" button (
) and the "Down"
button (
) simultaneously for 3 seconds. The control panel and the remote
control are fully functional once again.
9. Overheating
Overheating generally occurs only if one of the openings of the fan heater is
blocked. This appliance comes with a non self-resetting thermal fuse. The heater
switches off automatically once the overheating temperature is reached. The fan
heater can be operated again only after the fuse is replaced by the manufacturer
or by an equally qualified person.
10. Cleaning and Care
Set the ON/OFF switch of the appliance to the "0" position and disconnect it from
the power supply before you start cleaning it. Allow the appliance to cool down
completely before cleaning it.
To keep the heater clean, the outer cover can be cleaned with a soft and damp
cloth. After cleaning, the appliance should be dried using a soft cloth.
CAUTION!: Do not allow any fluids to get into the heater.
