SELF-CHECKING TEST
Before and after using the detector, ensure you perform
the self-check test to verify its correct operation.
The voltage absence detector has a built-in electronic
device for performing the self-check test to ensure the
correct operation of the indicator and power supply
circuits.
The self-check test is activated by pressing the test
button (4) for at least 1 second.
When pressed correctly, and the detector is ready for
use, this is reflected through the intermittent sounding
of the buzzer (7), while also seeing the optical LED signal
in red (5), green (6) and orange (8).
Once releasing the test button, if the test is correct the
device remains in a state of alert with the green LED (6)
alight. If it is incorrect, all the lights will flash along with
a few quick beeps and the detector will switch off.
The detector will remain in a state of alert for a period
of 2 minutes before its automatic disconnection.
If the device detects that the battery voltage is below
the safety threshold, it will go into an inoperative state
and will turn off.
In this case, proceed to replace the battery (see battery
change).
