1.2 Safety Inspection
Inspect the cart for damage that may have occurred during shipment. Open the front power compartment
door and verify that the batteries are securely restrained and the battery cable connections are tight.
Open the rear door; check the power module to verify that it is held securely in place. If any components
have loosened during shipment, secure them before applying power to the cart.
1.3 Startup
Check that the equipment power switches are in the OFF (0) position. The cart is now ready for start-up.
Open the power compartment front door (hand grip end) and connect the main inverter power/battery
cable (blue connector) to the connector on the battery module. The inverter will begin producing power as
indicated by the yellow mode indicator on the Cart display panel. Close and latch the rear door. Inverter
and battery status are indicated on the LED display panel located on the front of the cart next to the
bicycle grip handles. (See illustration below).

If for any reason the battery charge status indicator shows less than a fully charged battery, the cart
should be plugged in and recharged before initial use. During recharge the battery charge status indicator
will change to reflect the current state of charge, and the power status indicators should appear as follows
PRINTRONIX
Once the battery charge status indicator shows full charge, the cart is ready for use and the equipment to
be used on the cart may now be installed. If the inverter LED is not illuminated or the red fault LED is
illuminated, consult the troubleshooting section of the User's Manual.
