Simple cuts
Follow the steps below to prevent excessive damage to the bark of trees or bushes. Do
not operate the machine moving forward/backward.
•
First make a flat, first cut (a) (approximately ¼ of the branch diameter) on the
underside of the branch near the main branch or trunk.
•
Make a second cut (b) from the top of the branch towards the first cut. Continue
cutting through the branch until it loosens. Prepare to change the center of gravity
as soon as the branch or twig falls.
•
Make the last cut close to the trunk (c).
Notice:
1.Exert slight downward pressure only. If you use force, the sword, chain or motor may
be damaged.
2. Release the on/off switch immediately after cutting. If cuts are not made correctly,
the sword and chain may get stuck in the branch or twig. If this happens:
•
Stop the motor, disconnect the power supply completely
•
If you can reach the branch from the ground, lift the branch slightly while holding
the saw. This should make it easy to free the saw.
•
If the saw cannot be freed in this way, consult an expert
WARNING: When servicing, use only identical replacement parts. Use of any
other parts may create a hazard or cause product damage.
WARNING: Always wear safety goggles or safety glasses with side shields during
power tool operation or when blowing dust. If operation is dusty, also wear a dust
mask.
