4. Apply Teflon tape (F) (do not use hemp!) to the connection of
the expansion vessel.
5. Screw the expansion vessel to the security group of the
installation with additional piping.
6. To fill the system, read the instructions in chapter 4.
Note:
Choose a seal that is suitable for the maximum temperature and the fluid
used!
Read these steps to make the required electrical connections correctly. The electrical
connections are different for the Resol control and the SHM Control.
Note:
In order to receive electrical power, the CB-box has to be connected to the
mains power by means of a permanent electrical connection. A double-pole
isolator with a contact gap of at least 3 mm must be fitted between this
permanent connection and the water heater. The power cable must have
cores of at least 3 x 1,0 mm
Warning:
Leave the high capacity solar pump station electrically isolated until you are
ready to commission it.
Resol control
For this instruction, the Resol control already has to be connected as instructed in the
manual supplied with the control. See also appendix 9.1.
1. Mount the CB-box and the Resol control, both supplied with the pump station, to the
wall. Place them close to the high capacity solar pump station and the water heater.
2. Remove the cover of the CB-box.
3. Connect the main power supply (L, N and
right side of the clamp strip.
4. Supply power to the Resol
control by using the supply out
connections of the CB-box and
connect them to the Resol
control connection 12 -
N and 20 - L.
5. Connect the Resol pump
output (17 - N and 18 - L R1) to
the CB-box connection pump in.
6. From the CB-box connection
pump out, connect the wiring to
the solar pump as indicated on
the cover of the electrical
connection box of the solar pump.
