For optimal use of this tandem the proper adjustment of trims is important ; here is
a summary of the settings to be adopted.
The 4-arms equals neutral position is the classical flight position eg take-off,
landing and thermal flying.
The position detrimed (trims released to the bottom, the rear ones are longer than
the front) corresponds to an accelerated position, eg front wind transition.
The position trimmed (trims pulled fully, the rear ones are shorter than the front)
corresponds to a slowed down eg thermal position, reduction of brakes effort.
As with most tandem, the trim setting may vary depending on the inflight weight ; If
it's low, you will have to release the trims ; whereas if your in-flight weight is
important, you will need to pull the trims.
