Handling battery-powered devices
• Fire hazard! Only make use of batteries that have been authorised by the manufacturer.
Only make use of power supply units that have been authorised by the manufacturer. When
not in use, keep batteries away from metal objects as they could cause a short circuit. This
would result in a risk of injuries and fire.
• Before plugging in the lamp, make sure that the power supply unit corresponds to the con-
nection data of the device.
• The battery may only be charged in dry rooms.
• Only make use of power supply units with the values indicated on the type plate of the bat-
tery. The use of non-compliant power supply units may result in injuries as well as property
damage caused by exploding batteries.
• Do not subject the battery to any heat, fire, water or moisture. There is a risk of explosion.
• Fluids may leak out of the battery when used improperly. Battery fluids can cause skin ir-
ritation and burns. Contact must be avoided at all times! In the event of accidental contact,
rinse thoroughly with water. In the event of eye contact, seek medical attention immedi-
ately.
• Vapours may leak out of the battery in the event of damage or improper use. Provide for
good ventilation and consult a physician if you encounter any problems. The vapours may
irritate the respiratory system and can cause illnesses.
• Do not open the battery. The battery may become damaged as a result of improper use.
• Never attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries. This may result in a risk of fire and
explosion.
• The battery may only be used in combination with this lamp. Other electrical devices may
overload the battery and cause damage to it.
• Do not dispose of the battery with household waste!
• Do not dispose of the battery in any bodies of water!
• Do not expose the battery to direct sunlight or excessively high temperatures!
Product-specific safety instructions
• Do not subject the lamp to moisture, rain, sand or excessive heat as a result of heating
systems or sunlight.
• Do not cover the lamp with cloths or other objects. This may cause a fire hazard.

Explanation of symbols
• Signs and symbols may not be removed or covered.
Read and observe the user manual before starting to use the lamp.
Risk of eye damage! Never look directly into the LEDs.
Replace any protective panel that is cracked. The light source is located behind a
protective panel that protects the user against burns and the LEDs against damage. It
is not permitted to operate the lamp without the protective panel or with a damaged
protective panel. The protective panel must be replaced by a new, undamaged protec-
tive panel (original part).
Only charge the battery in dry rooms.
